The moment we arrived, the welcoming staff made us feel right at home, their attentiveness reminiscent of the warm hospitality I cherish in the UK. Our room was a delightful blend of comfort and charm, featuring a stunning sea view; what better way to wake up than to the sun rising over the Atlantic? Breakfast was nothing short of a feast, with a delectable buffet that filled our mornings with the best Brazilian flavors. We relished every bite while planning our day; it set us up nicely for exploring the local culture. What truly captivated me, as a historian with a penchant for grand architecture, were the scenic views available from nearly everywhere on the property - including the lovely bistro, which we found to be a standout among Porto's dining options. It was a perfect spot to unwind, filled with delightful service and sumptuous dishes that I can wholeheartedly recommend. If you're looking for a touch of elegance intertwined with local charm, this hotel should be at the top of your list for your Brazilian getaway.
